Here is my middle son, he ran a race on Saturday morning for the school runner's club. He did very well. :) I am very proud of him. He took off so fast in the start that I couldn't even get his picture. Wyatt after the race with his medal. He couldn't stop smiling the whole time, we all were.
Here he is running around towards the finish line.

Sadie Shirt and dress

I was over at craftiness is not an optional and seen the cutest shirt pattern she had made her daughter. She had a sew along about a week ago but I missed it so I didn't make mine until yesterday. She explains every step very well. I had a blast making them. I made the dress and the shirt in all in one day. I just love the pattern!

Sweet pea was having a blast playing outside today. She loves to grab the dry leaves.
She loves all bright colors so I made the shirt in pink and green, the same colors as here nursery. I also made the sleeves long too.

Here is the dress out of the same pattern. I made a gathered skirt that goes around the front and the back. On the pattern I just cut the back the same as the front then made the skirt 1.5x the width of the bottom measurement of the top half.

treasure map trick or treat bag

This year I made all my three boys pirate costumes. With the left over fabric from the pants and left over coins from the vests I made all them treasure map trick or treat bags. They were very simple to make. :) I will post a picture of their costums this weekend.

Hello

I have been reading so many wonderful blogs for a time now. I have enjoyed them very much. I have gotten wonderful ideas and instructions on how to make just about anything. I have been wanting to start my own blog, so here I go!
My hubbie and I have four children together; three sons, 7, 6, and 4; and one beautiful baby girl of 9 months. (I made her little skirt here.) I have been sewing more than anything in this past year. I have been so inspired by everyone, I hope that maybe I can do the same.
